Choosing kits and stencil refills

Compare what you already own

Choose the Speed Screens kit if you need a first pre-coated workflow with its lamp and frame. Choose the Speed Screens refill if those parts are already on your bench and the sheet size fits. The Essential Tools kit is a separate choice for buyers who already have ink and want to compare drawing fluid with liquid photo emulsion.

Count the stencils you need

For multiple colors, plan separate stencils and a way to align them on the print. A package with multiple ink colors may still contain only one frame. Refill sheets add stencil material without adding a light or a print station.

Does every photographic kit include a lamp?

Check the exact contents. Some provide the stencil materials and leave the exposure light to you.

What does the vinyl kit require from my setup?

It supplies the stencil vinyl and printing materials. You need a suitable cutter to make the stencil.

Which parts are reusable between designs?

Check the frame, squeegee and stencil method. New designs may need fresh stencil material or a screen reclaimed according to the manufacturer.
