Choosing platens and garment supports

Check fit from both sides of the purchase

Measure the garment opening and the support you need beneath the design. Then check the press arm, bracket and mounting points. The 10 × 14-inch youth board comes without a bracket, while the Ecotex pocket attachment specifies the thickness range of the board it grips. They solve different mounting problems.

Check what changes the printing height

A raised pocket plate changes the gap between the screen and fabric even when the original platen stays mounted. Compare the press adjustment with the plate’s stated rise and follow the accessory’s installation directions.

It provides more support only if the garment can slide onto it and the screen can reach the intended area.
