Fit and buying advice
The finer mesh is worth comparing when your artwork contains small type or thin lines and your ink is suited to a high mesh count. For bold fills or a thicker white ink, a more open screen can pass ink more easily. The two matching frames are useful when you want to prepare two separate stencils with the same opening and mesh. Each still needs its own stencil and placement on the press.

Questions about this tool
Which size matters for my exposure unit?
Compare the full 20 × 24-inch frame and rail clearance with the unit’s frame capacity. Check the exposed area separately against the actual stencil size.
Can I use a thick ink through the 230 mesh?
Check the ink maker’s mesh range first. If the ink calls for a lower count, choose a screen with larger openings for that job.
Why would I want two of the same mesh?
It lets you prepare separate color layers or keep a second stencil ready without switching to a different opening or mesh count between screens.
